| Pyrénées View operates a strict NO SMOKING policy. This DOES include the garden and pool areas as well as the house. | ||
| The hirer will be responsible for ensuring that all persons attending will be aware of these conditions. | ||
| Telephone or email bookings will be held for seven days pending receipt of the signed booking form and deposit. The booking cannot be confirmed until we receive both. If for any reason you are not able to print off a booking form, please let us know and we will send you one. | ||
| When an arrival date is WITHIN SIX WEEKS of the booking, payment in full is due, including the damage/loss deposit. We will reserve the gîte for sufficient time for the the signed booking form and payment to be received, but we will not confirm the booking until both are received. | ||
| All prices quoted are per week and are subject to amendment at any time. | ||
| A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable on booking, with the balance, plus loss/breakage deposit (see below) to be paid no later than six weeks prior to the date of arrival. Unless the balance and breakage deposit are paid by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without prior notice. | ||
| A refundable deposit of £100 or €150 is required to cover any losses or breakages. This deposit must be paid with the final balance. | ||
| PAYPAL: If you choose to make payment by Paypal, an administration charge will be added (to offset our Paypal costs), equal to 3.5% of the total cost of your booking. | ||
| The gîte is let on the understanding that it will only be occupied by the persons named on the booking form. | ||
| Our gîte is centrally-heated in winter, for which there is no extra charge. | ||
| There are no other hidden charges levied by the owners. | ||
| Access on day of arrival is from 16:00. On the departure date guests are expected to vacate the accommodation by 10:30 (am). Your contract with us, starts at 16:00 on the day of your arrival and ends at 10:30 on the day of departure. | ||
| If you plan to arrive after 18:00, or you wish to leave particularly early on your departure day, please notify the owners beforehand. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you are not able to arrive by 18:00, please call us. Our telephone number is on the contact page; we advise you to keep our number with you while travelling. | ||
| Your gîte will be fully cleaned prior to your arrival. We would appreciate the accommodation being left in a tidy state on your departure. | ||
| Clean bed linen will be supplied weekly (Saturday). | ||
| Towels are included at no extra charge. Guests must provide their own swimming towels: bathroom towels must not be used outside the gîte. | ||
| Please note that guests stay at, and use, the facilities (swimming pool etc.) entirely at their own risk. Due to strict French laws regarding the use of domestic swimming pools, guests will be required to comply with a few simple safety instructions, which will be explained on arrival. | ||
| Guests should take proper safety precautions during their stay and provide themselves with appropriate travel and/or personal accident insurance, health cover or life insurance. | ||
| Safety and/or protective clothing, sun block, swim aids and first aid equipment should be brought by guests for their own use, if required. | ||
| The resident owners will always be pleased to help with any difficulties you might have. | ||
| We regret that we are unable to accept domestic pets, including dogs. | ||
| Baggage and personal possessions are at the tenants' risk at all times. | ||
| Unrestricted wireless broadband Internet access (Wi-Fi) is available to guests free of charge. However, we accept no responsibility if any equipment you bring with you (eg laptop) is unable to connect to, or maintain a connection to, this facility. | ||
| CANCELLATION BY HIRER. If we receive notice of cancellation less than 28 days before your arrival date in Loudet, you will be charged the full amount due, unless we can re-let the property, in which case you will be charged £50 to cover our expenses. N.B after a short notice cancellation we may have to re-let at a lower charge to other guests and the refund will reflect this. Should you need to cancel a booking, please inform us immediately by telephone and then confirm your cancellation in writing. | ||
| If, having issued you a booking confirmation, you wish to alter your booking, please let us know immediately. We will endeavour to accommodate you, but this may NOT be possible due to other bookings. If the new dates take the booking into a higher charge bracket, then the difference will be payable. If the booking moves into a lower price bracket then that difference will only be refunded if the gîte can be re-let. A service charge may be made at the owners' discretion for any change of dates. | ||
| If a problem is encountered we ask that you inform us as soon as is practical. No complaint will be considered unless it is raised personally with the owners as soon as possible, and certainly before the gîte is vacated, and confirmed in writing within seven days of the end of your holiday. | ||
| We reserve the right to terminate a booking at any time if any of these conditions are not met in full, by any member of your party, and you will be asked to leave the property. | ||
| Please check all details of your booking confirmation carefully and let us know immediately if any detail is incorrect. | ||
| A signed booking form will be taken as proof that you have read, understood and agree with the above Terms and Conditions and will abide by them. Under no circumstances shall the owners' liability to the client exceed the amount paid to the owner for the rental period. French Law shall govern this contract in all its aspects. | ||
| FORCE MAJEUR. We cannot accept liability in any circumstances where performance of the contract is prevented by reason of: war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, flood or adverse weather conditions, acts of God, closure of ports or airports, epidemics, government action or any similar events outside our control. | ||
